In addition to our curriculum, we have developed the ‘Elms Farm Passport’ which encourages our pupils to engage in a wide variety of challenges at school and at home. The aims of the E.F.P.S Passport are: To extend learning beyond the classroom Encourage a healthy lifestyle Support the development of key life skills and self-care To nurture interests and ambitions   Educational Visits We have a wide range of educational visits and experiences which have been carefully planned throughout our curriculum. These visits have been tailored to provide our children with new experiences; the opportunity to develop new skills such as fieldwork and to enthuse our pupils which rich and diverse experiences which develops their understanding of the world. After School Clubs Research (Watson, M., & McMahon, M. (2022)) has highlighted that childhood is a crucial stage for career developmental learning. We plan after-school clubs which provide pupils with the exploration of a variety of areas. Please see our After School Club page to find out more   Preparing to be Successful Citizens of the Future Throughout their lives, children and young people are currently faced with an increasingly complex world where they have to manage the risks both online and offline. This presents them with lots of exciting opportunities, but these also come with challenges that they need to learn to manage. At Elms Farm pupils learn how to keep themselves safe and live a healthy lifestyle and how to manage their academic and social lives in a positive way.
